Former frontman and songwriter of Boston favorites The Shods is back with a new band.

The Shods released five albums during their eight year career, including, critically acclaimed, "Here come the Shods", 1995's MCA (un) released "Stop Crying", "Bamboozled" (voted best indie record 1998 Boston Phoenix), "Thanks for Nuthin'" (produced by long time Boston rock hero Dave Minnehan), with the regional hit "Eddie Cross", and their final album "Tippy", "An amazing collection of songs, eclectic and wonderful!" -Steve Morse Boston Globe.

"The spirit that has driven the great punk and garage bands since day one. the Shods have what it takes to bring old and new school rockers to the same club, and send them home buzzing."- Brett Milano The Boston Phoenix. Voted best live band 2000 WFNX Best Music Poll. "Nobody wears their sweat (not to mention their influences) on their sleeves or rocks a house with more full-on flare, and gusto than the Shods." -Matt Ashare The Boston Phoenix.

While retaining the pop sensibilites of the Shods, the new songs are more personal, infusing darker sentiments, with dogged optimism, and "what the hell" humor. Hook-laden and immediate with lyrics that make you think.
