Eduardo Betancourt have a original and innovative new record project "AD LIBITUM"
he recreates several musical facets applied to his instrument, The harp.
Using the new harps CAMAC EC and ELECTRIC LLANERA built by the prestigious factory of Harps "Les Harpes Camac" France, he explores new sonorities applied to traditional Venezuelan music giving a refreshing contemporary sound.

THE HARP SCENE IN VENEZUELA is vibrant with young, enthusiastic and passionate musicians.
Since my very first visit to this country, I have been amazed by the enormous talent and dynamism of the new generation of harpists.
Eduardo Betancourt is undoubtedly a leader in his field, creating modern llanera music.
With his acoustic harp, he brings together traditional Venezuelan musical styles.
With his electric harp, he expands the horizons of his instrument,
carving out new identities for it in the twenty-first century.
I am extremely optimistic about the new paths Venezuelan harp music is exploring.
I am very proud to have made a contribution by building the electric llanera.
Eduardo Betancourt is one of the iconic harpists of this new age for the llanera harp, and his new CD AD LIBITUM will doubtless be considered a milestone in Venezuelan music production.
