DESCRIPTION:
Earwig has been a highlight of the Columbus music scene for years, and the latest album shows that bandleader Lizard McGee is still a master of guitar-driven indie rock with fun pop hooks. The long-time power trio recently expanded to four with the addition of Lizard's daughter James McGee-Moore on vocals, and she's taking the band to new heights. Bassmaster Constantine Hondroulis holds down the lower space calmly while drumming beast Nick Nocera seems always on the verge of breaking the drums -- except when he actually does.
