Hayden Desser started making music in 1995 and has gained a lot of followers since then. Each of his records is released on his own small music label, Hardwood Records, which also released music by Basia Bulat and Cuff the Duke. His voice sounds like Neil Young and Leonard Cohen with specks of J. Mascis; so it's no wonder that The National personally invited this singer-songwriter along. After a false start four years ago it's good to finally have this guy at Le Guess Who? 2012.
