D. Valentine a.k.a King David was born David Valentine on September 29, 1984. Motivated as a child his early musical experiences were close to home. His Father is a self taught musician that learned and preformed as a drummer, guitarist, and pianist. Although the music was always there, David's family struggled to be able to make it in society. Moving around frequently to different states, such as Florida, Virginia, and all throughout Maryland and Washington D.C. D. Valentine began to adapt to different lifestyles and cultures he was exposed to. By the age of 12 his musical knowledge consisted of Reggae, Soul, Blues, Jazz, Hip Hop, and years worth of Classic Rock thanks to his fathers influence. Artists like Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Eric Clapton all the way to Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and Cypress Hill would be in rotation. From a predominately Italian Background D. Valentine was brought up to embrace his culture. In 1999 D. Valentine's family moved to Phoenix Arizona. From the east coast to the west was a "culture shock" for anyone at that time. Life was a constant struggle. Dropping out of high school in 2000, D. became more involved wit drugs and crime. The streets were different and he adapted once again until he was incarcerated. After multiple probation violations and periods of incarceration as a youth he was inspired to learn the truth about the system, and had the first desire to make music.

As adult David worked a job here and there, but was still in the streets. Moving around Phoenix and California, D. Valentine became deeply involved in Hip Hop as an art form. Music like NaS, Wu-Tang Clan, Gangstarr, Talib Kweli, Dilated Peoples, Bob Marley as well as other musicians inspired him durring these times. Unfortunately, David was locked up as an adult for longer periods of time that hindered not only his personal life but his career in Hip Hop. In September 2006 D. Valentine formed Vendetta Kingz, and began recording in his bassment studio. Such artist like Killah Priest and Hell Razah were featured on early tracks by D. Valentine and the Vendetta Kingz. After the probation and the jail and prison terms D. Valentine had enough and made the decision to go to New York to break his way into the music industry. He linked up with long time artist Tragedy Khadafi. Using similar channels he began to gather producers and lyricists to build the empire of Vendetta Kingz. Once the time was right he made the first moves and dropped on New York scene and appeared on mix tapes and started collaborating with major artists and making priceless connections. Networking was vital for D. and his business was created from the ground up. Vendetta Kingz L.L.C. is for the people. D. Valentine is the title, but the Movement is more than just music. Today, David continues to innovate within the ever changing music business and making not only classic Hip Hop material, but inspring change and forming the Movement. VENDETTA KINGZ
