The Rebel King (EP) is Duquette Johnston's first solo release in three years, and it features two re-recorded songs from his last album and "Dancing Song," the first preview of his new album Rabbit Runs a Destiny, out in mid-2013.

Rabbit Runs A Destiny is new territory for Duquette Johnston, unveiling a voice that's willing to be both vulnerable and strong. Anchored by sweeping, and often majestic, sonic landscapes, Rabbit shows a musician firmly in control of his craft, but unafraid to grow and dig deeper. These songs mark a new journey for Duquette Johnston, and one that's worth hitching a ride to follow.

In his past, he was a founding member of such influential bands as Verbena and Cutgrass and the Gum Creek Killers. Along the way, he's shared the stage with such acts as The Delta Spirit, The Civil Wars, Bonnie Prince Billy, Centromatic, Shovels and Rope and many more.
