In this episode we are playing a handful of dual overdrive pedals. A two-in-one drive can be an extremely useful pedal to have on your board because it takes up one pedal space (albeit a large pedal sometimes!) and uses just one power supply socket… but can give you up to three distinct OD sounds/textures at your feet.
Yes, there are a tremendous number of dual overdrive pedals on the market, but we thought we’d take this opportunity to show you the new D&M Drive by Robert Keeley in the context of some others...

• The Analogman King Of Tone is Dan’s favourite OD, ever: a fairly transparent drive and boost.
• The Way Huge Camel Toe MkII is a Way Huge Green Rhino MkII and Red Llama MkII in one box. Massive distortion and drive awaits! It’s new for 2017.
• Wampler’s Triple Wreck is Brian’s (Wampler) take on the modern ‘rectified’ distortion sound, so we’re talking very heavy rock through to metal territory.
• The D&M Drive is Dan & Mick’s new overdrive pedal designed by Robert Keeley. It will be available in the spring of 2017. It has a full-range heavy overdrive on one side (Dan) and a mid boosty drive/boost on the other (Mick). They can be used separately or stacked into one another in either direction.
