Ne vous y trompez pas, le trio DOWN TO EARTH ne fait aucune concession sur son deuxième album "PRISMS". Révélant une véritable interaction entre un rock agressif et des mélodies provocantes, cet album agit comme un shoot d'adrénaline et brûle comme de l'alcool sur une plaie ouverte. La combinaison des voix hurlées, des guitares anguleuses et des rythmes martelés, fait de « Prisms » un album de premier ordre. Pas la peine de souligner que peu de groupes le font aussi bien ! Déchainé mais jouant avec aplomb, le groupe a l'intention de laisser des ecchymoses derrière lui. Les voix harmonisées oscillent entre provoc' et témérité, exposant ainsi le combo à un examen de conscience. Leur musique se bat contre tout ce qu'ils sont, tout ce qui les construit et tout ce qui les consume, et ce, jusqu'à la fin de l'album.
Prisms a été produit, enregistré et mixé par Sylvain Biguet dans un seul but : la scène ! L'album a été masterisé par Bob Weston (Nirvana, Jawbox, Shellac).

Make no mistake, French trio DOWN TO EARTH doesn't make concessions or concern itself with musical fashion on their second full-length Prisms. Revealing a progressive interplay between aggressive rock and provocative melody, the album revs up like a dirty shot of adrenaline and burns like alcohol on an fresh wound. The combination of searing vocals, angular guitars and a pounding rhythm section makes for prime moshing material. Needless to say, few bands can pull it off this easily or this well. Shaken and stirred, this band aims to leave bruises and change lives.not the least of all their own. Harmonized vocals shift between a blustery bravado and edgy recklessness, running a gauntlet of self-examination. And the music fights back with everything it's got.building, brooding and burning right up to its finale.
