I.F.M. are from Salento, Italy and this project is dedicated to Ilario Corsano. He was an influential DJ and a closed friend of Marcello and Francisco who passed away. Marcello Napoletano needs no introduction into the world of House music. His releases on labels like Adonis’ Mathematics and Reincarnation have made him one of the most promising young artists last year. Together with Francisco Schito they have also released a 12“ on Uzuri as I.F.M. On this 12“ you will be able to hear their deepness which is dominated by analog synths and drummachines and could easily give you the feeling that it’s recorded in the early 90’s, as the boys are well into those aesthetics. The rhythms of I.F.M are challenging and forward-thinking. Grooves with a personal attitude and a trademark sound make this project so essential to us. In Promise Land you will recognise the speech of Martin Luther King which could be taken as to obvious but we think nowadays it is so relevant again. We all need some hope and a dream!
