"Above Full Moon" depicts the life of Mr. Li Shu Tong, a very important pioneer in early Chinese art history, who at the peak of his life, became a Buddhist monk known as Master Hong Yi. He left a rich legacy of music, literary and calligraphy works and his noble and pious character greatly influenced many people.

"Above Full Moon" features some of the best talents from Malaysia arts scene, and is presented in Broadway style with great musical scores supported by spectacular stage props and design. It is one of the full length musicals created by director Ho Lin Huay and composer Imee Ooi following their greatly successful collaboration, Siddhartha - The Musical.
