Song from "Ustanak i more" (Uprising and Sea), a competition of of patriotic and songs about the sea at Split Song Festival 1984. A compilation of 14 songs recorded live at the festival was released by Jugoton.

Đani Maršan is a Croatian singer from Zadar. He has released many singles and albums, the biggest success he had with the album "Prijatelju moj" (1989). His most known songs are: "Mandolina", "Bože čuvaj Hrvatsku", "Misto kraj mora", "Zadar je u srcu mome", "Adio", "Prozor prema zalazu", "Djevojka s juga", "Ja te volim", "Kad mendule procvitaju", "Prijatelju moj"... He was also know for his festival performances (Split, Melodije Istre i Kvarnera, Dora, Dalmatinska šansona). He is half-brother to singers Tomislav Ivčić i Vedran Ivčić.
