Visually, the credo of DragChrist is that a thing of fierceness is as fake and over-painted as possible, that or, checkout what's currently in vogue and then create an antidote! The music career of DragChrist was forged in 2004, after he took the New York underground by surprise with his debut cut, StarFucker (We Are The Club Kids), which was released on Pittsburgh's indie label Basina USA. America's alternative club circuit adored the UK's outlandish DragChrist, and an exceedingly non-conventional recording artist was born. Subsequent hits quickly followed, such as the electro pummeling VixXxen, which elevated DragChrist into what could best be described as the mainstream - depending upon your definition? VixXxen gatecrashed the World NRG Charts, Billboard, and untold deejay club charts across America and Europe. An extremely low-budget music video aired alongside big budget productions by major artists, being syndicated by the likes of Rock America, and entering VJ charts internationally. The sound of gender fuck - as DragChrist himself refers to his music, continued to come fast and fierce, with DragChrist perpetually gaining momentum and notoriety with a certain eclectic niche of underground nightlife. The discography of DragChrist gives hint to his quirky brand of salacious tack, with song titles such as Fur Coat No Knickers, Beautiful Porn, and Electric High Heels. Alas, it doesn't stop here, with DragChrist once again poised to assault the commercial digital disco with his latest cut, Your Ass Is The Bassline, a track bated with a hook so delectable it could snag Moby Dick. iTunes, Amazon download etc are currently bracing themselves for the release of four club orientated remixes of 'Your Ass' in January 2012, brought to you by EML Recordings. If euro-pop, gender fuck aesthetics and heavy makeup wasn't enough to sabotage any self respecting CV, DragChrist has now also added author to his resume, with the recent publication of a self-penned biography, Too Fierce For Earth, a book which assures the reader that it tells the trash, the whole trash and nothing but the trash! Anybody with inclination to acquaint themselves with DragChrist need only logon. He's to be found all over the web - you have been warned!!!
