CMT's Lance Smith calls Don Pedigo "The Hard Rocking Heartthrob from the

Heartland!" Pedigo was recently a finalist in CMT's Music City Madness

competition and featured on CMT's Top Twenty Countdown. He has been

writing and working in Nashville, Tennessee since 2006 when he signed with

Work With Me Music Publishing and Tight-Kinit Records.

Don's recent writing achievements have included holds by Keith Urban, Gary

Alan, Garth Brooks, and George Strait. Pedigo's "Doing it Over" is

featured on the 2009 soundtrack for "Labor Pains" starring Lindsey Lohan. Don writes regularly with hit crafter's such as Earl Bud Lee ("Friends in Low Places," "One Night at a Time"), Roger Cook ("Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress," "I Believe in You"), James

House ("Broken Wing," "Ain't That Lonely Yet") and many more.

Don Pedigo's love for writing comes second only to his passion for the

stage. Don has toured from coast to coast and extensively in the Midwest

and South. Don has shared the stage with artists such as Sammy Kershaw,

Raul Malo (Mavericks), Larry Crane (John Mellencamp), P.F. Sloan as well

as many other notable artists and musicians. Pedigo attributes some of his

style to influences by Steve Earle and John Prine. "Those guys gave me

more insight by hanging with them than I could've gained in ten years on

the road," states Pedigo with slight grin and obvious gratitude for those

who have helped him get to this level.

Pedigo's shows are full of drive and energy. His live performances have

been compared to Tom Petty and Heartbreakers. He can take his audience to

the highest peak then bring them to the valleys by landscaping his life

experiences. Don's blessings as an artist are magnified by his devotion to

charities such as "The Children's Miracle Network." He regularly performs

for benefits and in hospitals throughout the midwest and east coast.

Getting to meet this down to earth son of a son of a preacher is truly a

remarkable experience. It's not everyday that one gets to see a star just

before he breaks! Don Pedigo is the future of Nashville Country Music
