Don Cikuta

La banda Don Cikuta se forma en 1998 tras una fiesta en la que coincidimos tres antiguos miembros de una vieja banda de instituto. Tras unas cervezas en la playa donde vivimos (Tavernes de Valldigna), decidimos retomar un proyecto que teníamos cuando estudiábamos, de ahí empezamos a ensayar, y cuando ya nos vimos preparados decidimos empezar los conciertos. En uno de estos conciertos coincidimos con un miembro del sello Discos Suicidas y decidimos grabar el primer disco al que titulamos " Mi generación " grabado en los estudios AC de Valencia y Producido por Vicente Sabater, teclista de Presuntos Implicados.

Este disco nos abrió las puertas de los escenarios mas importantes de España y lanzarnos a lugares tan lejanos para nosotros como México, Arizona o San Francisco.

Tras la grata experiencia decidimos grabar nuestro segundo disco que dedicamos exclusivamente a lo sucedido hasta ese momento, lo titulamos " Kieres jugar conmigo "

En este disco se consolidó el grupo a nivel europeo y sobre todo abrió las puertas de California.

En ese tour conocimos a Billy Gould bajista de Faith No More el cual se involucró mucho y apostó por Don Cikuta muy fuerte grabando lo que sería el tercer disco llamado " Estúpido pero feliz ", se grabó el disco en San Francisco y colaboró gente de Lagwagon, RKL, Brujería. Este disco hizo muy fuerte a la banda en todo el mundo y el tour se a largo hasta dos años.

La banda decidió tomarse un tiempo de descanso y preparar lo que será el nuevo disco, en este periodo la banda hizo muchas maquetas para decidir las canciones del nuevo disco, de esas maquetas editamos 5 canciones en vinilo bajo el nombre "FUCK YOU" lo cual ha servido como recordatorio para todos nuestros fans, para que supieran que seguiamos vivos.

En noviembre pasado viajamos de nuevo a San Francisco para grabar el nuevo disco, se grabó en los Hyde Street Studios, donde ha grabado gente como Green Day, Dead Kenedyso los mismisimos Rancid .

La producción ha corrido a cargo de nuevo de Billy Gould y el resultado se llamará " Esto es para ti "

The band Don Cikuta forms in 1998 after a celebration in which we agreed three old members of an old band of institute. After beers in the beach where we lived (Tavernes de Valldigna), we decided to retake a project that we had when we studied, of we began there to try, and when we already were ourselves prepared we decided to begin the concerts. In one of these concerts we agreed with a member of the seal Suicidal Discs and decided to record the first disc to which we titled "My recorded generation" in studies AC of Valencia and was produced by Vicente Sabater, pianist of Presuntos Implicados. This disc opened the doors to us of the scenes but important of Spain and to send to us to so distant places for us as Mexico, Arizona or San Francisco. After the pleasing experience we decided to record our second disc which we dedicated exclusively to the happened thing until that moment, we titled " Kieres jugar conmigo " In this disc consolidated the group at European level and mainly it opened the doors of California. In that tour we knew Billy Gould of Faith No More It does not dwell which became jumbled much and it bet by Don Cikuta very hard recording what would be the third " Estupido pero feliz " called disc, one recorded the disc in San Francisco and collaborated people of Lagwagon, RKL, Witchcraft. This disc very hard did to the band anywhere in the world and tour to length up to two years. The band decided to take a time from rest and to prepare what will be the new disc, in this period the band made many scale models to decide the songs of the new disc, of those scale models we published 5 vinyl songs under name "FUCK YOU" which has served like reminder for all ours fans, so that they knew that seguiamos alive. In last November we traveled again to San Francisco to record the new disc, was recorded in the Hyde Street Studios, where it has recorded people like Green Day, Dead Kenedys or Rancid. The production has been the responsibility of the big Billy Gould and the result will be called " Esto es para ti " the final turn out until the next
