''Golden Years'' is a song originally performed by David Bowie, included on his tenth studio album, ''Station To Station''. The song has been covered several times, most notably by Nina Hagen, Loose Ends, Swell, Track One A.B. and others.

Marilyn Manson's version was supposed to be included on their 3rd studio album, ''Mechanical Animals'', but it was ultimately scrapped. Nonetheless, their version was included as part of the soundtrack for the 1998 comedy, ''Dead Man On Campus''; featured in the intro.
