PUBLISHED:  Dec 31, 2011
DESCRIPTION:
#10 - The Disko Starz and Silver Disco - I Want You: Sweet track, with a great vocal and sweet melodies. I love the synths used on it

#9 - J Paul Getto - Need More Music: I f*ckin love the sample, and I was very surprised the first time I heard the track. Big basslines and build up in general.

#8 - SKingz - Living Up: This is the best example that how a cheesy 80's tune can turn into a dance hit.The best from SKingz this year. "There's not turning back" when you heard it!

#7 - Yella Finesse - Knew Disco (Geisha Twins Remix): Is the most interesting remix I heard in 2011. The sample and the other elements are fabulous.

#6 - Audio Jacker & How2 Groove? - Dance, Dance Dance: My first impression was "WOW, this is a monster!". Great guitars and vocals.

#5 - La Zebra - Stay With Me: Pure disco, the slap bass makes you dance as sick!. Also the sax sequence at the middle of the track makes the track so erotic!

#4 - DJ EQ - U.F.O: The first time I heard this one I was on subway. I started to dance as a fckin crazy!. The track is amazing, and the bassline is demolish!

#3 - Joey Chicago - Love Call: PORN, JAZZ, HOUSE!. This is a mix of various elements. Definitely, is the greatest track from Jens this year!

#2 - DJ Las K - I Wana Be: He did what I always wanted to do with the "Inside Out" sample (I never had success). He did some amazing work with the original sample, converting a melancolic track into a bomb!

#1 - Defunk - Hold You Tight: Yeah, maybe the first release of this track was in 2010, but Sugarland release it again in 2011. For some reason, this track touch my soul every time I play it. I just love it!. The sample is something awesome, great chorus, great lyrics, great synthetizers... I just love electro funk, that 1980-1983 funky-elecro tunes, those amazing synth-basslines.

This year I felt so lucky, cause I met some artists close to my home.

HM1: Mint Cigar: I need a girl: The track is a bomb. He sampled the ultra-known Disco Inferno, but the result was great! The track did explode the last gig I had.

HM2: Dj Touch - Llegó La Banda: Simple track, simple concept, great tune. This guy sampled a salsa (92bpm) and adjust for a latin disco house. Love the final result!
