• Timmy Regisford has released two great albums on Tribe Records, 'At The Club' in 2011 and 'Covers', in October last year. We're delighted by those, but too many months have passed since we last released a single by Mr Regisford.

• It's time to rectify this, and Timmy Regisford Remixed will do that. Claude Monnet kicks off a double whammy of Regisford remixes by taking the classic 'At The Club' in a fresh new direction. And two weeks later on xx June we cut loose with 'Thank You' (taken from Mr Regisford's recent Covers album), with Frankie Feliciano, Ziggy Funk & Neil Pierce and our own Dean Zepherin at the controls.

Monnet delivers the kind of kicking tribal backbeat and deep, percussive pleasures that fire up his DJ sets at Back To Fundamentals at La Paillotte Bambou in Paris, or at Amnesia and Pacha in Ibiza's summer season. He's been producing since 1995 and runs two record labels of his own, SSOH and Analog, so what was it that drew him to want to remix 'At The Club'?

• 'Without any doubt it was the vocal,' says Monnet. 'The first time I heard it, I loved the vocal and the lyrics. It reminded me of the early 1990's NY vocal house tracks. I chose a more deep and dark direction but the result is quite sexy anyway. "Cheek to cheek, sex to sex!" That's the hook, isn't it?

Oh yes! At Tribe we'd always wanted to do something like this with the track; a beautiful, deep, techy remix that will send shivers down your spine and make you feel good, make you feel nice, give you good feelings all through the night'
