DESCRIPTION:
Working on a new promo for DJ Rectangle. One of the songs he wanted used was Jason Derulo ft Snoop Dogg (copyright Jason Derulo). I was listening to see what sample I wanted to use from the song... suddenly, my brain went "SQUIRREL!" And... I decided to splice up syllables from other words in the verse to add some funk to the promo. This is why it takes me so long to produce stuff when people say "use your creative freedom." ;) It's the little things. Warning: A lot of this is very tedious production, you may want to skip around if this is not your bag. But, if you want to see how people execute and create the stuff you hear on the radio and in promos... this is the long, creative process.
