What happens when Copenhagen's hottest up-and-coming MC decides to collaborate with one of Denmark's most legendary underground DJs? This is exactly what happened after a chance meeting between DJ Nico Defrost and MC Black Daniels at the Sound Waves beach rave in 2009. Throw in the stunning visuals of Brazillian filmmaker Lucas Magutti and you get Primetime Massive, one of the hottest performance collaborations ever to hit the rave scene. Now, Primetime Massive is bringing its one-of-a-kind dubstep/drum and bass sound to the UK.

A week after their initial meeting, Nico invited Daniels to perform with him at his next club gig in Copenhagen. There was no turning back from there, as the unique blend of electronic music with a live MC made them decide that this was a project worth continuing. Soon, they were recording their own tracks and perforing live every weekend. They soon relocated to Ibiza to finish recording, all the while performing, and were invited onto Eva Pacifico's program for the renowned Ibiza Sonica Radio. Following their time in Ibiza, the duo decided it was time to show the world what they have been working on for the past year and are bringing Primetime Massive to the masses.

♛ Nico Defrost ♛
Nico Defrost has been in the game for years, having produced, managed, DJed, and promoted within the music industry. His ties duties have taken him as far as Brazil, Spain, Germany, and Sweden, and he has worked with Trentemoller, Grooverider, Mr. Catra, and DJ Nis. Nico comes from a musical family; his father worked with Eric Clapton and was friends with Jimi Hendrix. His sister, Philippa Bulgin has sold 170,000 albums in Denmark. Growing up, Nico was in a number of bands himself, culminating in a performance with his funk band, Babajay, at the 1996 Roskilde Festival. Nico then began to focus on other aspects of the industry, including DJing, which brought him to Primetime Massive.

♛ Black Daniels ♛
MC Black Daniels has spent the last three years making a name for himself within music circles. He was worked with Culture Shock, Lomax, and BTK among others. Daniels also co-host a weekly radio show showcasing the best in underground drum and bass. Daniels seemed to constantly find himself on stage, even from a young age, playing drums and acting. He attended music schools throughout his youth and toured with numerous bands. While at school, Daniels took an interest in the club scene and was serving as an MC and DJ within a year. This led him to his chance meeting with Nico Defrost and the birth of Primetime Massive. @ LOFTAS FEST'12
