At times, I think I find the most comfort in re-reading Luke's words; re-viewing his vision, re-seeing his projects and his photography. This past few months - I have spent some time re-reading and reflecting on the words he scripted to all of us after his diagnosis. Though exceedingly difficult to revisit, I have found such solace in the peace of mind & peace of heart that Lucas maintained --- even in the face of the most daunting and frightful challenge. Regardless of the times, regardless of the circumstances? He was just.... so.... thankful. And it was Lucas himself who reminded everyone he loved that memories are the pieces of life that help to appreciate living. In that vein.... I hope this ten minute tribute can be one of those memories, augmenting the footprint that his presence left & continues to leave on us all. Four years have passed, but the impact of his insight remain.
