Original written & produced by Kelvin Kresge. Rhodes by Dom Thompson. Published by Nordic Trax (Socan).

We first joined forces with Kelvin on his excellent `13th Parallel` (a collaboration with Jon Gray), featured on the Nordic Trax compilation `Many Shades of House` released in 2004 (NT038/40). Next up was Kelvin’s debut ep for NT, The Poundland Pimpin EP (NT041 – released May 2005). '2 Doors Down' emerged as the standout track from that EP – tearing up dance floors everywhere last summer and topping the downloads chart for 3 weeks at Stompy.com. Now re-rubbed by two of the West Coast’s finest deejay/producers, alongside a previously un-released sax mix of the original, make this an essential 3-tracker.

San Diego’s Hipp-E (H-Foundation, Nightshift) brings his jackin’ beats to the table and re-rinses Dom’s tight Rhodes lines to maximum effect for this peak-time player. Meanwhile San Francisco’s own Members Only (Om, Kaskademusic, LNS) takes a decidedly more laid back approach with an extremely funky remix, and to true to form for this deadly production duo. Finally Kelvin’s previously unreleased sax mix finally gets the full vinyl release rounding out the EP in style.

Bio: Kelvin was born in England and grew up in San Francisco. Now a resident of Brighton (UK) he has been deejaying since the early `90s, when he had the opportunity to cultivate his skills spinning at some of San Francisco`s historic underground events. A multi-faceted producer, Kelvin has released music on Moulton, Tango, Spacekat, Soulstar, Multitracked, Greenhouse, and of course Nordic Trax.
