DJ Kayper is a seminal force on the mainstream, dance, and urban music scenes. Hailed to be one of the finest DJs to pioneer new music today, Kayper has hosted The DJ Kayper Show on BBC's Asian Network since 2006. The show is now one of the station's biggest exports with a global listenership. It attracts some of the best urban and pop music artists from Drake, Nas, Will.I.Am, Common, Questlove, Damian Marley Lupe Fiasco, Nelly Furtado and The Game to U.K. artists Estelle, Tinchy Stryder, and Jay Sean. Adding to her many accolades, DJ Kayper travels the globe to deejay at some of the most exclusive celebrity events. With a recent TV commercial for Nike following past TV adverts that show her DJing on the BBC along with guest DJ spots for Fader Magazine, DJ Kayper's brand grows daily.

Kayper is a fierce advocate of homegrown talent and up-and-coming artists. She devotes an entire segment of the DJ Kayper Show to emerging artists who showcase their talents to her worldwide audience. A record-breaking win in 2004 brought DJ Kayper, aka Kaajal Bakrania, the title of first female winner of the Vestax Juice DJ Competition and an official sponsor that pushed her to the forefront of the DJ scene. Kayper has headlined at renowned nightclubs including London's Ministry of Sound, Bar Rumba and exclusive venues like Bungalow 8 and Met Bar, New York City's famed SOB's, M2, The Knitting Factory and Joe's Pub. Her innate ability to understand audiences worldwide and keep the dance floors rockin keeps her sought after.

This skill and Kayper's blending make her mashups passionately anticipated. Her long line of successes cement her status and demand as a multi talented DJ and producer. She collaborated with dubstep producer Engine Earz to create "Gimme Some" which has spread virally through the club scene in UK.
