On Saturday 10/9, witness the unveiling of the Funk Revival Orchestra's most ambitious project to date: a full 2-set tribute to the funk god, Roy Ayers.

Even if you don't KNOW you've heard Ayers's music, if you've ever listened to Mary J. Blidge, Erykah Badu, Sade, Tribe Called Quest, Brand Nubian, Common, Lil' Kim, Notorious BIG ("get munny") or any real hip hop and R&B from the last 30+ years, chances are you've gotten a taste! Ayers is without question one of the most sampled musicians in hip hop and R&B, so it's about time we give him a proper tribute as only FRO can!

For this special concert we're bringing in the immense talents of Andrew MaGuire on the vibes, Rashida "Audio Angel" Clendening, Cynthia Taylor and Eyezon to help us really do it up correct!
