Born in Daly City, CA and raised in San Lorenzo, CA. DJ DEUCE ACE has been rocking the turntables for over a decade. From starting out as a mobile DJ in 1994 to the club, radio, and mixtape scene shortly after and back to the mobile DJ world in 2006, Deuce Ace has come full circle to become one of the best all around deejays in the world. Known as a party rocking club DJ that incorporates turntablism techniques, Deuce Aces style is by far incomparable.

After graduating from high school, Deuce Ace moved to Los Angeles to pursue a bachelors degree in Communication Studies at Cal State University Northridge. It was while in Los Angeles where he developed his own style. Learning from other DJs in the Los Angeles area and studying the styles of J-Rocc, Shortkut, Mark Luv, Aladdin, and Joe Cooley, Deuce Ace developed the skills and techniques to become one of the best DJs around. It was also here at Cal State Northridge where Deuce Ace began his radio career working at 88.5 fm KCSN. Alongside Anthony Valdez, Deuce Ace blessed the Los Angeles airwaves with his mixes and interviews on the radio show Table of Contents. After graduating from college Deuce Ace moved back to the Bay Area and continued his radio experience interning at 106.1 KMEL. Currently Deuce Ace is part of an Internet radio station called SIDEWOK.COM. You can catch him every Tuesday night on The Beat Kitchen with DJ Verz and Charlie Darker at 8pm. You can also hear him occasionally on Cerritosallstars.com.

Throughout his DJ profession Deuce Ace is fortunate for the opportunity to play at some of the hottest night clubs throughout California. In the Bay Area and Los Angeles club scene alone he has played at such notable venues as Vault 350, Knitting Factory, Rouge, DNA Lounge, Malibu Inn, Temple Lounge, Luna Lounge, Studio Z, and Temple Bar. Deuce Ace is also fortunate for the opportunity to open up for some of the most well respected and known artists in Hip Hop such as Del The Funky Homosapien, KRS-1, Living Legends, Jin, DJ Shortkut, Madlib, MED, DJ J-Rocc, Digable Planets, Crown City Rockers, Triple Threat DJs, Beat Junkies, Jeru The Damaja, Supernatural, DJ Evil Dee, and Tha Alkaholiks.

Aside from the club scene and opening up for artists, Deuce Ace has been gaining major recognition and respect through various projects and appearances during the past few years. He has provided his cuts for several West Coast Hip Hop artists such as Detane, Music&Strength (2002), Mnemonic, Keep It Raw (2003), Muse10 Project, True Skool (2004), Phunk Master PHIL, Lyrical Discipline (2005), Jimi Handtrix, Juices Jam (2005), and many more.

In 2005 Deuce Ace released his highly successful debut mixtape with 3sixty5 Records titled, Dear Tara Hill, featuring Hip-Hop joints from Madlib, J-Live, Lyrics Born, J5, Kan Kick, Mikey Mo, Souls of Mischief, Visionaries, Jedi Mind Tricks, OC, and many more. Dear Tara Hill has sold over 1,000 copies. Also in 2005 Deuce Ace was part of the West Bound Tour. He and his crew The Jimi Handtrix held it down for every show, which you can see for your self on the upcoming CD/DVD release of the West Bound Tour titled, WEST BOUND, coming in 2006. Deuce Ace will also be part of the West Bound Tour 2 coming in 2006.

Deuce Ace is a member of several highly prominent groups and organizations. In 2002 he became part of Music&Strength, a collective of MCs, DJs, producers, and graff writers. In 2004 him and several fellow DJs formed a DJ/music group called The Jimi Handtrix Experience, which consist of DJ Presto One (Rock Steady Crew), DJ Havik (Beat Junkies/Zulu Nation), DJ Earwaxxx, DJ Jugaknot, DJ Daeta (Liquor Barrel All Stars/Abyss/Mikey Mo), Silent John, and Phunk Master PHIL. Also in 2004 Deuce Ace joined 3sixty5 Records. Most notably, in 2005 Deuce Ace became a member of the most recognized and respected organization in Hip Hop, The Universal Zulu Nation. His affiliation with Universal Zulu Nation proves that his passion and love for Hip Hop will continue throughout his life.

Now in 2006, Deuce Ace has stepped up his game. Returning to his roots, Deuce Ace started his own mobile DJ company called Deuce Ace Productions. Aside from running his own business Deuce Ace will continue to rock the crowd with The Jimi Handtrix Crew, bless the streets with the hottest mixtapes, and help take Sidewok.com radio to the next level.

DJ DEUCE ACE will continue to keep the party moving without missing a beat. Mobile DJing, mixtapes, radio and the club scene each require a different approach, which DJ Deuce Ace has been able to master.
