ONE MIC is Back! The music show repping the true flavour of UK underground talent is back on OHTV, Friday 10th August at 10pm for a brand new series and it's BACK in the club, live and coming at ya Thursday 16th August. (Advance ticketing onemic@darknessrecords.com)

Brought to you by Rep Dat and Darkness Records, the innovative and inspirational live music talent show is back with a bang, doing what it does best -- only BETTER! Nine artists from Hip Hop, Reggae and Soul/R&B battle it out in front of a live, London club audience and panel of industry judges to find out who wins the ultimate One Mic prize.

Filmed earlier this year in the luxurious West End surroundings of Kempinska's Club, and hosted by Quincy the Comedian (Supreme FM) and Dominizle (Street life Radio), One Mic's judging panel consists of Maria Kempinska (Founder Jongleurs chain of Comedy clubs), Solomon Penumuchi (A&R manager for Universal Records -- Loick Essien, Jessie J -- and Gary Barlow's Universal/Future Records imprint), Lush (Recording Artist, toured with Lady GaGa) and Jamal Miah (CEO of Darkness Records and respected London promoter), all of whom provide honest, genuinely felt feedback to artists, who have performed live in front of a studio audience, to help them to progress to the next level.

With Rep Dat and Darkness Records having identified a popular need for a show of this calibre, One Mic quickly attracted the attention of the prize winning UK black entertainment channel OHTV (Sky Channel 199), who broadcast Series 1 in March 2012 to a potential worldwide audience of 25 million. The show generated the TV channel's highest ever social media response (statistics gathered by Benn Boateng Social Media Analysts), beating three of the station's established and longest running shows.

With Series 2 ready to roll on TV and a third being recorded just a few weeks away in August, Rep Dat remain consistent in its ethos of 'Presenting a Balanced Representation of Modern British Culture'.
