Dj, producer, journalist, photographer, writter, Cyprien Rose was born in Paris, and is now living in Limoges / France
He started to work for radios and clubs since 1987, he also produce music for TV, Cinema, Theatre, Fashion Show and he is the creator of Houz-Motik
Member with his friend Stanley Meyerson, of the Band Apnea Profonda, in 1996 they produced a deeply detroit techno influenced EP The Dive
The compilation Trip Do Brasil was born in Buena Carles brain, the boss of Rythmix label.
In 1998 this DJ/graphiste had the idea to select 13 Djs from all over the world to produce an album in honnour of music from South America and especially Brazil. The finest team realised Trip Do Brasil, a warm album with artist such as DJ Cam, Jose Padilla, Rockers Hi-Fi ou Jerome Pacman. After the huge succes of the first record, Trip Do Brasil 2 comes out, these new operation include mixes from Russ Gabriel, Ben Mays, Mental Remedy, DJ Spinna, The Boyz From Brazil.
In 2001, then after few gigs with some of the Trip Do Brasil artists, Buena Carles offered to Cyprien to work with them on their international Trip to Brasil Dj tour
2002, after many Dj- Set with a percussionist, he had the desire to build a new project with other musicians, then he launched Monsieur Pink with four other artists, a sax player, a guitarist, a bass guitar player, and a percussionist. This band have been two consecutive years selected to play on « Printemps de Bourges » new talents discovers. (2001 / 2002). Unfortunatly, after some really good times and many concerts, because of so much activities from all the members, the band was not able to work on a new set and gave his last concert during summer 2003. Some people talk about a possible soon re-construction.
As an ecletcic dj, he play and(or) organised gigs with various international artists such as : Erik Truffaz, Dj Cam, Maceo Parker, Ronie Size and Dj Krust, Young Gods, Alton Miller, Dj Deep, Tinariwen, Superdiscount, A Guy Called Gerald, Zion train, Jef K, Cyril K, Dj Troubl, Biggabush, Dj Sundae, Miss Chrysalide Karla Calderon, Roce and many more.
