DESCRIPTION:
On April 15, 2011 The QUAD Atlanta brought together 30 of the best underground DJs the South has to offer in a no-holds-barred DJ battle called GenreATTACK. Each of the DJs were separated into 1 of 5 divisions according to what they are known to play: House, Trance, Drum n Bass, Breaks, and Dubstep. For Round 1 of the contest, the combatants were to show their skill in only 15 minutes.

The result was more than man versus machine. This was vinyl versus CDs versus MIDI control. This was friend versus friend to prove who could emerge as the last DJ standing. Due to the degree of difficulty in playing that quickly and many who entered have never been in a DJ battle ever, the anxiety and adrenalin levels backstage were evident all night.

One half of 2 Men and a Track, our own DJ B-Naut, entered GenreATTACK to show off his brand of Electro + Rock Mashups with some turntablism bravado slipped in toward the end of his set.
