The latest release on Clinique Recordings welcomes Napalm & D-phrag back to the label with 'Event Horizon'. The prolific production duo are making their sixth appearance on the Russian imprint following recent releases on John OO Fleming's Joof Recordings. 'Event Horizon' was the lead track on the duos first and only EP for Clinique back in November of 2014. The moody techno production stood as one of napalm & d-phrag's finest works and here receives a brand new remix from Daraspa.

For those of you following Daraspa's productions you're likely hungry for some new material. 2015 has seen just two new productions from the Dutch producer, with the most recent being the excellent 'Antko' released courtesy of what many would consider his home label Sound Avenue. There's certainly been a lot of work being put in by Daraspa as his sound continues to evolve into new and interesting sonic realms. For his 'Event Horizon' interpretation the Dutch producer has put a futuristic techno spin on the track which is absolutely wonderful. A bed of pulsating bass stabs, rough beats and subtle vocal gates lays down a great foundation for the forthcoming story . Sinister synth stabs and a sequence of panning chimes add mightily to the hypnotic groove as the track reaches the main break. Here a band of eerie hooks cuts through the atmosphere and delivers nice anticipation before a smooth but exhilarating build brings the menacing groove back for a wicked finish. Definitely one of Daraspa's all time best works and a foreshadowing of more great productions to come I think. Don't miss it.
