Ovum’s 20th birthday celebrations continue on through the summer with the return of Alexkid.

It is hard to believe it has been 14 years since Alex’s debut Ovum release “On My Mind”. Alex has returned with a new mature sound that will tear up dance floors this summer! The Avocado EP (an inside joke between Alex and Josh Wink), is crunchy, rocking, tech funk. The lead track “The Dope” is pure funked out techy deepness. A great example that minimal can be maximal with throbbing twitches and tweaks that keep things grooving.

For the B, Alex brings us For Josh. A dedication to our fearless leader Josh Wink, we see Alex taking us on a journey. The funk is still here, but this track is definitely for the heads and set to soundtrack sun rises throughout the summer. Bravo Alex and welcome back!
