DJ @LeX (real name Michal Grzybek) is a founder and a part of a worldwide recognized group A State of Mind as well as a producer and DJ with over 15 years experience behind the decks. A resident of one of the biggest clubs in Lower Silesia, Poland. His adventure with music started with him learning to play the piano, but as the time went by he felt it was a bit too little for him and he began looking for something more. The first time he stood “on the other side”, he knew spinning music for people was something he was carved out for.



His career goes way back to the times of early 90’s, when such artists as Dr Alban, Haddaway, Twenty 4 Seven, Activate etc. ruled the place, but it were the sounds like U96 and Felix as well as the representants od the early days of techno that caught Michal’s attention right from the start. Over the years the music was changing and so did Michal’s musical taste. Many years of experience taught him not to rely on just one genre but to stay flexible and adjust his sets by choosing an appropriate atmosphere to the changing audience. It wasn’t all about the mixing though, as producing his own tracks became his passion too. It gave him the possibility to interact with the listeners on a completely new level.



When it comes to mixing, he’s crazy about it, accepting no compromise he proves his skills in every single set. As a DJ he’s mostly into trance, progressive, electro-house, progressive-house and house music, as a producer he’s been mostly working within trance and progressive genres, but he still develops his skills and looks for the inspirations in the other genres he’s always been fond of. He uses many software and hardware tools in his well equipped studio, so it’ more than reccomended to look out for the outcome of his work.
