DJ Kiva & Digital Tubby, King Tubby's nephew, met around 2000, performing together at underground soundsystem events in Brooklyn. The two formed a friendship based on a shared love of heavy bass and futuristic beats and have kept in contact ever since. Digital Tubby reached out to DJ Kiva to help remix his uncle's classic sounds for a new generation of listeners, and they proudly present the first remix in the tribute series to one of the true legends of dub music, King Tubby...Dub Lives On!
