Hannah Sanders sings and plays with Ben Savage

Hannah started singing traditional folk songs with her family, The Dunns when she was a teenager. The Dunns toured the UK and Europe singing unaccompanied songs in 4 part harmony.

Hannah left music for a time to pursue a career as a cultural anthropologist, becoming a leading expert on contemporary witchcraft and popular culture. She lived in Boston, MA, USA where she taught at Emerson College and sung with Liz Simmons (Annalivia, Long Time Courting).

Hannah is recently returned to Britain and is performing the folk songs she has known and loved for years, accompanied on guitar and baritone dulcimer. From the beautiful ballads of Britain to sweet songs of the American mountains, Hannah brings lightness and depth to her renditions of songs old and new.

In addition to her solo work, Hannah works with guitarist Ben Smith, guitarist/dobro player Ben Savage and radical storytelling troupe Pandvani108.

Hannah has been performing at clubs and festivals across Britain and the USA. Autumn 2014 saw Fate, a new EP in anticipation of the Febraury 2015 release of her debut album Charms Against Sorrow, engineered and produced by Ben Savage.
