Since the melodic range seemed more fitting for a female I asked vocalist Debbie Jones to have a go at it. I think she captured the romantic loneliness of this piece quite well. Deb sang on top of my piano track and thus, if you listen carefully you can hear a slight ghost of my voice in the mix.
