DELE

Delé, singer/performer/songwriter, is a young man from East London who has already made a name for himself in various parts of the country for his singing style and stage performances. It was at the ripe young age of eight when Delé wrote his first song and also discovered that he had the ability to hold a musical note. That is when it all started for him and he embarked on his musical career. Being new to the world of music he started off as a member in a band then decided to go it alone and consequently went solo. He has remained a solo artist ever since specialising in a number of musical styles such as R&B, Soul and Pop.
Growing up in an era whereby there were a number of great bands, artists, groups and positive role models in the music industry it was his brothers and Boyz II Men who had the biggest influences on his career. It was with his siblings support and guidance along with the soulful, melodic tones of Boyz II Men’s musical versatility that encouraged his song writing and his desire to enter the entertainment world and make music his preferred choice of career. Up until his late teens Delé performed in a number of school and youth production performances honing his undoubted talent singing and dancing in public venues. It was these performances, his brother’s encouragement and watching a number of dance videos that led to the emergence of his showman and performer status. Singing and performing became a major part of his everyday life and Delé started to choreograph his own dance routines to bring more emphasis to his songs and to ultimately entertain the public much to the delight of the watching audiences.
The first single, ‘She Makes Me Hot’ put him in the spotlight and further enhanced his already burgeoning reputation to a wider audience and it was from that initial exposure, Delé was approached to do other projects in 2004. The second single ‘Ex’ has taken Delé to a whole new level and has courted a number of rave reviews from radio stations all over the UK with him being likened to a number of already established artists. The promotional drive for ‘Ex’ saw physical CD’s and digital delivery of the track sent to key presenters and relevant programming staff at commercial, internet and community radio stations across the U.K. The feedback from the various stations was extremely positive and secured the track some significant air plays/spins as well as it being featured on a number of key specialist radio show play lists. Already Delé has been invited to perform at a number of high profile showcases and he has had a number of offers to do collaborations with other singers and producers who have expressed a liking to his musical style. With his diverse vocal range and great stage presence the next career step will be for him to do a number of supporting performances at a number of prestigious gigs and stage shows around the country.
Delé has been working studiously on his debut album, which it is envisaged will be in general circulation later this year, and is expected to take the music industry by storm with his blend of vocal freshness and musical diversity. To date he has completed a number of very well produced tracks from his album under the tutelage and watchful eye of two of the UK’s best producers, Syklone, who have made a big name for themselves over the years creating their own niche in the music industry. As an up and coming young man he has that crossover combination of youth and impending maturity that more than compliments his musical style and enhances the undoubted talent he possesses.
