SCREAMING IN SILENCE

There's blood on the streets
Blood on the hands
Blood on the tongues
Of cannibals

Desperate dance of deceivers
Barren Indian givers
Masters and slaves
Drowning in murky waves
Of a hungry ocean

In times of long shadows we're swirling
In the wheels of history
Our voices are burning

Less and less are the thoughts


More and more are the words
Swallowed by laughter and tears
I cry as an old man


And I smile as child without fears

Actions are bent


Promises melting
Masks of the righteous
Disintegrating

Will you be a sword
or will you be a shield
Stronger, wiser and bigger
To use love as a trigger
And lay down your guilt?
