People might be wondering what’s behind Authentic Music going all quiet for the bigger part of 2015. All year long there’s been a brand new compilation entitled Art of Deception in the making and the label’s boss Panorama was once again trying his best to search only for the finest cutting edge deep sounds of drum & bass with strong emphasis on infectious groove.

This time there’s no beating around the bush with names such as Sunchase, Signal, A-Cray, Arp XP or mc Kryptomedic. The album contains eleven carefully selected tracks that foreshadow what kind of sound can we expect from Authentic Music in 2016. "This compilation is supposed to redefine the sound of Authentic Music, and it took me about a year to put it together. I want to work towards having a signature style that you can easily recognize. We want to bring back that classic Drum & Bass sound peppered with a dash of modern engineering. It's something that has been sort of vanishing in the past few years," says the label boss Panorama.

And signature sound it does bring. You can look forward to thick beats with unusually clever basslines and a compact selection of tracks that is sure to please lovers of deep sounds around the world. Mark 22nd of February in your calendar as the day when one of the most essential Drum & Bass compilations of 2016 gets released.
