Team DJing boils down to synchronicity between each team member. Not just as DJs executing a set together but as a collective pulling in the proverbial rope in the same direction.

Your schedule is synchronized. As Roc Raida (RIP) would say, "if you're late 2 hours to practice, the group missed out on 2 hours they could have gotten better." Your thinking is synchronized. Your group's performance goals only come to fruition if everyone thinks as one unit. Your skills are synchronized. Your crew is only as good as it's weakest member.

Achieving group synchronization is a difficult task. Especially for students who in all honesty are still growing into themselves as DJs. That being said Derek, Joe, Eli and Emilce, otherwise known as DJ Rob Swiffer, epitomized what it is to have synchronicity. Each and every one of them rose to the occasion and this allowed for a cohesive group set that forces me to bow my head to them as a show of respect.
