Released in May 2000, this great comp that launched the TIRC label features 27 songs from bands from the St. Louis area and the landlocked Midwest, including favorites from now-defunct bands such as Thee Lordly Serpents, 12 Gauge Blues, the Delstars, Johnny Magnet, Space Age Palmer, the Revelators (two songs not on their Crypt Records LP), the Bent Scepters, plus a coupla bands that are still alive and kickin’, like the Trip Daddys, Ded Bugs, and the (recently resurrected) Honkeys and Geargrinders, not to mention corrected versions of a couple of the Cripplers’ songs (and one by Thee Phantom 5ive) that were mastered incorrectly (wrong DAT speed) on the original CD release (oops!).
