ABOUT DEFY THE OCEAN
Defy The Ocean are an alternative metal duo based in London formed in 2010. Chris Theo and Marcos Economides are both multi-instrumentalists who work together to craft uncompromising, melodic rock and metal with some progressive tendencies. Musically they are influneced by everything from Kaki King and Radiohead to Karnivool and Isis. They work hard to smash those influences together in a cohesive way. This leads to many arguements and both are considering retraining orders against each other. So get the music now while it's available and support these masochists."

All music is recorded in Chris' home studio and he's a bit of a gear head but has yet to succumb to gear acquisition syndrome.
