Thanks for watching again. I had a Maiden song to upload last week but the San Dimas floyd rose went south. One of the cast alloy saddles broke so I've ordered a hardened steel set. Next time you're wondering about floyd rose specials I sway to spend a little more on the real thing. Anyways I wasn't sure how I should have gone about tackling this one. One of my favourite Slayer songs. I was in two minds as to doing it the standard way on one guitar with backing or the later.
I swapped out the emg hz pup in the Alexi with an 81 and added Kerry King's db booster switch. I think it sounds really good and heaps of fun to play. I had to fake the feedback at the end and added a bit of delay at the end of Jeff's solo.
For anyone who's wondering, KK's part is played on the Jackson RR5 and Jeff's on the Alexi 600.
As always, recorded through garageband using Amplitube Custom Shop and Roland FA-66 interface. Edited in Premiere CS6. Anyone wanting presets or questions answered feel free to email me Lambchopper678@me.com
