Dawn of the Dude

Dawn of the Dude was started by long time friends Asher (Caleb Hanks) and Digi (Justin Smith). Digi and Asher wrote all of the Dawn of the Dude songs from 2004 - 2007. After Asher left in late 2007 to pursue other music, Digi was the song writer till the bands end in late 2009. Colin played Trombone. Adam played trumpet and keys through most of DOTD's career. Matt Ring and Stephen Armstrong were the drummers from 2004 - 2006. Matt Aycock was the blessing of all who played with us from 2006 until the bands end. Seth came along in 2008 to play bass.

When we're not wasting time throwing our own feces at each other, we are usually rocking out a stage somewhere in America to tens of . well just 10 people. When we're on tour we typically stay in roach motels that are often haunted. Occasionally we find a severed hand in the complimentary microwave.



Describing our music is as difficult as pre-basic mathematics. We blend a little ska with rock. We like to add a thin layer of reggae and we top it off with a small influence of punk. So basically our music is better understood if you're taking a culinary class.



We tried to do pyrotechnics on stage once. we're responsible for many fires.
