In 1965, Barry McGuire wrote "The Eve of Destruction", an early protest song that looked at the state of the world and warned what would happen if we continued down that path.

Later that same year, the Spokesmen wrote their answer song, "The Dawn of Correction". It plays a verse-for-verse rebuttal to McGuire.

Here, listen to both as one song spliced together; a musical argument where the singer interrupt each other and cut each other off to get a word in edgewise.
