The Allman Brothers Band - Final Performance (Whipping Post) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Oct 30, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
The Allman Brothers Band helped shape the music world since their very first recordings in 1969. I've had the pleasure of seeing them every year at The Beacon Theatre for the passed 5 years along with many festivals and shows around the area. There last show marks the end of an era and it was such an honor being in the building for the conclusion of their career. The band has been through a lot but I can't thank them enough for providing spectacular music for 45 years.

The night was filled with surprises and a very sentimental setlist. Brother Duane Allman's 3 Les Paul's were on stage and played by both Derek Trucks and Warren Haynes. Once midnight came and the anniversary of Duane Allman's death was upon us, the whole audience joined the band in singing "Will the Circle be Unbroken" which was a song brother Gregg sang at his funeral.

Every person in the Beacon Theater had a smile on their face and after 3 sets of jams, many of them started to tear up. The Allman Brothers Band will live on throughout history and I thank them for all the great memories. All around the world, the Allman Brother's Family will stick together forever.
