Myspace Layouts at Pimp-My-Profile.com / Black and grey I was born in Tonbridge and grew up in Guildford.I started playing guitar when I was 8 yrs old after my parents brought back a cheap acoustic guitar from Spain.Got my my 1st electric guitar when I was 12 and played in various bands in the Guildford area.Joined a Blues Brothers tribute band in London when I was 21 and from there went on to meet and work with lots of musicians and bands live including; Judie Tzuke, Peter Cox(Go West), Lucie Silvas, Alphaville, 911, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards (Status Quo), Jimmy Ruffin, Harrison, Luke Goss, Babylon Zoo, Sasha Mezek,Deni Hines, Columbo, David McAlmont, Tony Hadley, Paul Young, Pauline Henry (The Chimes), Polaroid, SystemX. In 1990 i formed my own band called ‘Mint Jams’ with Tim Goldsmith on drums and Geoff Gascoyne on bass, Darren Mooney,Martin Lister and Phil Mulford later joined the band,we were playing jazz stuff including quite a few of my own tunes it was fun but quite stressful!! In the studio i have worked with artists including;Peter Cox, Judie Tzuke, Peter Andre, Bernie Nolan, Shiltz (Down to the Bone), Kim Mazelle, Mighty Strinth, Bonnie Tyler, Marian Gold (Alphaville), Lucie Silvas, Columbo, The Blessing, ,John ‘Rhino’ Edwards (Status Quo) , Mindy Mcready. Rebbca Wheatley (Casualty). I’ve also worked a lot with Simon May and played on a lot of his TV music including;Eastenders, Brat Camp,Trainer,Garden Invaders, Eldorado!!,Longleat/Lion Country,Food and Drink,Pet Rescue to name a few! For the past 10 years I have really got into the studio thing and I have my own studio now which is fantastic for me and gives me the chance to write and produce music on my own and with many singers and songwriters.I write a lot with Judie Tzuke and we collaborate with a lot of artists, including recently; Laura Michelle Kelly ‘What’s it All For’1st single from her new album,Ryandan(UCJ),Judie Tzuke,Bailey Tzuke,Kine Nesheim,Jenny Lynn Smith,Gareth Gates.I have also produced and written for No Silence,Mia Silvas ,Lucie Silvas,Peter Cox,Bernie Nolan,Sasha Mezek,Andy Gibson. As well as writing I am currently touring quite a bit with Alphaville and producing another album for Sasha Mezek.
