With 'Destiny' legendary Brazilian composer Antonio Adolfo -- the first Brazilian musician to play the Fender Rhodes, returns with a new CD of classics 60's and 70's inspired Brazilian grooves. Antonio's sound mixes together elements from jazz, classics Brazilian 60's pop music, baroque orchestrations, easy scoring and funk to create a swinging set of tunes fans of MPB from the 60's will love. 'Destiny' features the gorgeous vocals harmony of the two daughters Carol and Luisa, and on this album he is reunited with lyricist Tibério Gaspar for the first time in 30 years.

Breve Biografia/A Short Biography
Antonio Adolfo começou a estudar música na infância, e no início dos anos 60 passou a freqüentar os ambientes cariocas onde se tocava jazz e bossa nova. Em 1964 montou o Trio 3-D para encenar o musical "Pobre Menina Rica", de Vinicius de Moraes e Carlos Lyra. Participou como compositor dos festivais de música popular, obtendo sucesso com "Sá Marina" em 1968 e no ano seguinte com "Juliana" (parceria com Tibério Gaspar), interpretada pelo conjunto A Brazuca, do qual fazia parte. Acompanhou Elis Regina em turnê à Europa um pouco depois, e nos anos 70 esteve nos Estados Unidos tocando e estudando, influenciado principalmente pela linguagem do jazz. De volta ao Brasil, foi pioneiro da produção independente com o disco "Feito em Casa", do selo Artezanal, vendido por ele mesmo às lojas em 1977. Fundou em 1985 uma escola no Rio de Janeiro o Centro Musical Antonio Adolfo. Além de manter o centro musical, atua como arranjador, produtor, compositor e pianista.

Antonio Adolfo began studying music in childhood and early 60's he attended the environments where locals played jazz and bossa nova. In 1964 set up Trio 3-D to stage the musical "Pobre Menica Rica" ("Poor Little Rich Girl") by Vinicius de Moraes and Carlos Lyra. He participated as a composer of popular music festivals, getting hit with "Sa Marina" in 1968 and the following year with "Juliana" (partnership with Tibério Gaspar), played by all the Brazuca, to which he belonged. Accompanied Elis Regina on tour to Europe shortly after, and 70 years in the United States has been playing and studying, mainly influenced by the language of jazz. Back in Brazil, pioneered the independent production with the album "Feito em Casa" ("Homemade") Artezanal Label, sold by him to the shops in 1977. He founded a school in 1985 in Rio de Janeiro O Centro Musical Antonio Adolfo (Center Musical Antonio Adolfo). Besides keeping the music center, acts as an arranger, producer, composer and pianist.
