Datura

Datura is a magical plant that grows in North Mexico plateaus. Datura is used from Yaqui shaman in their rituals in order to approach itself the Acquaintance. From this plant, known through the readings of Carlos Castaneda and the Tex Willer comics adventures,

the Datura take to name and inspiration. The record plan is born in the spring of 1991 at

Coco Studio in Bologna (Italy) from

Ciro Pagano (Gaznevada former guitarist) and

Stefano Mazzavillani (musician and arranger of famous

italian artists); the production is involved also two important djs: Ricci and Cirillo. Datura are fascinate from the mystery, the religions and from all those cognitive processes that they go beyond the science, the Datura try through their music to approach themselves and to explore the worlds parallels and basements that crowd the mind.
