DESCRIPTION:
Danny Knicely and Jack Dunlap, accompanied by Jared Pool on guitar, stopped by the WTJU studios last fall for a visit to Folk & Beyond. Danny and Jack had recently released an album, "Chop Shred and Split" on the Virginia Foundation for the Humanities label as part of the 2014-2015 Virginia Folklife Apprenticeship (Danny master, Jack apprentice). Here do they do their original "Six On Four" (available on the CD). That CD went on to win a few awards (Wammies) at the Washington Area Music Awards.
