He spoke with Neon Jazz about his time at the New England Conservatory learning under Fred Hersch and Danilo Perez, along with performing with cats like From Jimmy Heath, Wynton Marsalis, Christian McBride and Mark Turner. These days, he is promoting his brand new 2015 album called Familiar Places and has plenty to say about it .. along with much more – including tales involving Paul Schaeffer ..
