Daniel Munoz

Daniel was born in 1983 in Pforzheim, Germany, Daniel Muñoz grew up in Eisingen, Pforzheim and Stuttgart. He has 2 brothers "Ricardo" and "Raul", who are like him half Spanish and half Dutch. At the age of 10 he discovered his love for the music. His father played the guitar and his mother was a singer. When he was young, he wasn’t allowed to touch father’s guitar, until the day when his father noticed his talents. As soon as this was clear he was immediately sent to music school. He started to sing and play the guitar when he was just 11 years old. His parents had 2 Spanish restaurants, where he watched other musicians play the Spanish guitar, because a lot of Spanish musicians came to play there regularly. At his music school Daniel only had the possibility to learn how to play the classic guitar. This way he could combine both types of playing. Slowly Daniel also started to play at the restaurant, for the first time in front of an audience. At the age of 15 Daniel moved with his family to Holland. After finishing school Daniel went back to Germany and started his own band, at which time he was 18 years old.
In Germany he took part in the TV show “Deutschland sucht den Superstar” (Idols), which was quite unexpected because a friend of his signed him up as a surprise. In the end, however, he became one of the 10 finalists when he finally had to leave the program. During the show he released a CD with the other finalists, which sold more than 100,000 copies.



After this show he stayed one more year in Germany and toured across the country. Then Daniel decided to return to his family in Holland, where he started his study at the academy for music and design. He later entered a show called “Latin Live” and won it! As a result of this Daniel was offered to record a single and release it under the label 8Ball Music. He also performed at every Holland Casino in the Netherlands as the Latin Live- contest winner, but his single didn’t make it very far in the charts. His own experience thus showed him, that TV shows are not always something you can rely on. At this moment Daniel is writing and recording his own and other artists’ songs. Daniel also discovered his interests in event management, through which he is currently organizing big parties and concerts all over Germany.
21.01.2011 Daniel now lives in Frankfurt. After a longer break, now he is recording new titles again. He would like to add a more sounding like rock atmosphere to his songs. He wants to extend his presence and performe on the stage once again. However, furthermore he would like to do Spanish /English / Pop, like he always did. Because of his fans and the support, he was always motivated to continue with the music, he would like to return something to his fans which gave him so much.
