Someone once called Chris Austin's songs "nightmare lullabies"...

It's imagery that sits well with the band, themselves generally dysfunctional and often at odds with the world around them. The band comes from the Medway towns and was started in 2011 by Chris Austin and Matt Bell, who earlier in 2012 were joined by Stan Read on drums. As the band has found its feet, Tape Error has increasingly become more about homemade music. Their album comes out during the early part of 2013, on Dancing Turtle records.
